Faith Sharing

Faith Sharing

Interfaith of Topeka has traditionally held a time of “faith sharing” at the end of each monthly board meeting. During this sharing time, a representative of some faith group describes various aspects of his/her religion, then answers questions from the rest of the group. These times of faith sharing are often the most rewarding part of the meetings.

Early this year, our secretary began keeping a written record of each faith sharing. To see what has been said during these fascinating discussions, see our archive of Faith Sharing posts.

Coincidental with our decision to keep these records, Interfaith also decided to begin meetings with these times of faith sharing so that anyone who would like to learn about other religions can do so without waiting to the end of the business meeting. If you would like to join us for these stimulating exchanges of religious and faith beliefs, you are welcome to attend.

Interfaith meets at 6:30 on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library. You may leave during the short break between the Faith Sharing period and our business meeting, or you are welcome to stay, listen, and even participate in business meeting discussions.
